To become affiliated with the UTA, clubs must undergo a thorough vetting and appraisal process conducted by the federation. This ensures that the clubs meet certain standards and criteria set forth by the UTA constitution. Among these requirements are having adequate tennis facilities to host matches and events, as well as adhering to democratic principles in their administration and governance.
